Stay Put is an amazing new creation from Jon Renau.
The stay put wig grip band has been created to secure and prevent wigs or headwear from slipping or shifting around on your head.
.
The Velvet fabric ensures no slippage, whilst the lace area when worn under the parting / lace area on your wig ensures no lines of demarcation visible.
..
"STAY PUT" is available in a light flesh tone or a deep flesh tone.
You can choose the colour closest to your skin shade, or the colour closest to your hair - whichever option you prefer.
..
The top area has a lace section that is designed with your wig in mind. If you have a lace front or monofilament parting, then you can line up the wig grip lace under your wig and it will allow the most natural appearance.
.
Stay Put is made with elastic velvet fabric and features a thin adjustable backing for added comfort. We have found it is far less irritating than velcro nape fastenings. It is really a brilliant invention.
.
Stay Put can be worn over a wig liner and gives additional security for your own peace of mind
.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Material: Velvet band with Lace Top and Elastic nape
Colours: various
Size: Petite/Average to Average/Large
please note - may contain copper at clip area

HOW TO MEASURE FOR A WIG
WIG CAP SIZES
The Majority of wigs in an average cap size will fit the majority of the population. This however, is not everybody. We are all unique.
As a general rule of thumb,

PETITE WIG CIRCUMFERENCE: 51-54CM (20-21.25 INCH)

AVERAGE WIG CIRCUMFERENCE: 54-57CM (21.25-22.5 INCH)

LARGE WIG CIRCUMFERENCE: 57-60CM (22.5-24 INCH)

HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR LOVELY HEAD?

Hi Beautiful girlies and guys!
Often, people are unsure of which size of wig cap is going to fit them best. I feel it is only right to have some information for you on the general sizing guides and some information on HOW TO measure your beautiful head
MYTH: It is easy to tell what size of head someone has by looking. Professionals do not need to measure heads!
TRUTH: This is not possible - due to the contours and shape of every head, it is imperative that you are measured / measure your own head sizing
It is IMPORTANT to note that circumference is not the only measurement that we need to consider. Front to Back, as well as ear to ear should also be noted.
At Mimo Wigs, we can provide wig alteration on the majority of hand tied and wefted caps, and MiMo has been certified to do this for you lovely girlies out there wearing hair - if your cap needs to be brought in.
JON RENAU have Provided a very handy tool that easily demonstrates how to measure for your wig, and also - their sizing chart.
Most people will fall between different categories for the different measurements. for example, you may be an average circumference but petite front to back, and large ear to ear. You should ALWAYS choose the largest of the measurements. Caps can be adjusted at the other areas and brought in for you.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If a cap description does not state that there is a monofilament top to the wig - this means that the wig will have permatease on the top area. Permatease is a lot of short hair added to create volume. This is not a defect, and can look almost like multiple little short spikey hair. This is the reason that the wigs are cheaper.... they are not hand made on top but machine made.
  • If you want a NATURAL TOP / parting appearance please order a wig with a monofilament top or parting. We can always advise BEFORE purchase. Unless otherwise stated, it is to be expected that any cap that is not a monofilament top will have permatease.
  • Please also note that there may me slight variation in colour with hand made wigs, and that on occasion colour plavcement may be slightly variable.
  • Colour swatches shown are provided by manufacturers. However, please note that they can appear differently on CPU / computer / phone screens dependent on lighting. If you need advice before purchase, you can Contact Us Here
