Refund & Returns Policy – MiMo Wigs Ltd

By placing an order with MiMo Wigs Ltd, you agree to this Refund & Returns Policy alongside our Terms of Service.


Returns & Hygiene

Due to health protection and hygiene reasons, the following items are non-returnable once opened:

  • Wigs
  • Toppers
  • Hairpieces
  • Headwear
  • Brushes and combs

This is in accordance with Regulation 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which removes the right to cancel for sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed.

All items are supplied with protective packaging designed to preserve hygiene and product integrity. Once opened, items cannot be returned unless faulty or not as described.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully upheld.

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at orders@mimowigs.com, including:

  • your order number
  • clear photographs of the issue

We may require the item to be returned for inspection before confirming a resolution.


Cancellations

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.

This right does not apply to:

  • custom-made or personalised items
  • items that have been opened and fall under hygiene exemptions

If your order has already been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible where hygiene exemptions apply.

Where applicable, refunds will be issued in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.


Custom Orders

Custom-made, altered, or personalised items are non-refundable and non-cancellable once production has begun.


Unauthorised Returns

Items returned without prior contact and approval from MiMo Wigs Ltd may not be accepted.

Where a return does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, we reserve the right to:

  • refuse the return
  • return the item to the sender at their cost

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


Colour & Product Expectations

Colours may vary due to screen display differences and variations between synthetic and human hair fibres. This does not constitute a fault.

If you are unsure about a colour, we recommend contacting us before purchase or ordering a colour ring where available.


Product Care

Wigs and hairpieces are delicate items and must be handled in accordance with manufacturer guidance.

Damage caused by improper handling, use of unsuitable products, or failure to follow care instructions will not be considered a manufacturing fault.


Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow up to 14 working days for refunds to be processed once approved.

 

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us first at orders@mimowigs.com so we can resolve the matter promptly.

We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, we reserve the right to provide evidence to the payment provider demonstrating that the order was fulfilled in accordance with this policy.

refused Delivery

We are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by:

  • Refusal of shipment
  • Failure to pay customs duties or taxes
  • Incorrect address details provided by the customer

In such cases:

  • Any refund may be reduced by all costs incurred (including shipping, duties, storage, handling, and return fees)
  • Where goods are not returned (including destruction by courier or customs), no refund will be issued

Chargeback

By completing your purchase, you agree that:

  • You accept all shipping, customs, and delivery terms
  • You will not initiate a chargeback for costs arising from refusal, customs charges, or delivery failure outside our control

Any attempt to recover such costs via chargeback may be contested using this agreement as evidence.
